Plan German residential PV/storage delivery as a complete system before shipping the battery. We offer professional full-scope installation across Germany, covering PV panels, three-phase high-voltage hybrid inverters and battery modules, with our German warehouse, delivery and after-sales coordination. Roof work, electrical changes, grid-related tasks and fees must be defined against the actual site and manufacturer conditions.
For a manufacturer or distributor, an order may list only models, quantities and an address. Completion also depends on the roof, meter cabinet, existing PV, cable routes, installation location and the household’s backup-power expectations. A delivered pallet is not a commissioned household system.
Define the installation deliverable
A new PV-plus-storage system and a battery retrofit need different scopes. For a new system, define the PV, electrical, inverter and battery work. For a retrofit, check the installed equipment, compatibility and modifications first. Matching connectors or energy capacity alone do not establish compatibility.
Treat backup power as a separate manufacturer-confirmed function: which circuits, what changeover arrangement, and which supported equipment/site conditions? Battery energy is not available backup power and does not determine whole-home runtime by itself. We execute the agreed scope; the manufacturer must substantiate compatibility, settings and technical claims.
| Order type | Pre-dispatch input | Required output |
|---|---|---|
| New PV and storage | Roof, usage, site electrical information, full configuration | Works, materials, conditions and fees |
| Battery retrofit | Existing modules/inverter, wiring and metering | Compatibility decision and modification scope |
| Replacement/fault assignment | Serial numbers, fault record, manufacturer decision | Parts, authority, replacement and return plan |
| Backup-power request | Circuits, loads and supported manufacturer design | Confirmed capability and limitations |
Use a site-information gate before dispatch
Obtain the address, roof/equipment-location photographs, meter-cabinet and visible nameplate details, existing models, cable route and access conditions from the customer or authorised party. Never ask a householder to open live electrical equipment for photographs; unresolved electrical conditions require professional assessment.
Assign each open item: manufacturer for compatibility/settings, professional team for site work, and customer for location/use requirements. A target date should remain conditional while essential inputs are missing. Warehouse checks can establish model, count, packaging and visible serial numbers, not site readiness.
Separate handover from registration
Track delivery, installation, technical commissioning, customer handover and registration independently. Provide the installed models/serials, work and commissioning records, operating information, support route, warranty and agreed after-sales scope. The householder should know who receives the first support request.
MaStR’s general current rule is registration within one month of commissioning, subject to the applicable circumstances and exceptions. The operator remains responsible for correct information and deadlines even when using a representative. PV and battery commissioning dates may differ; verify the actual records rather than copying a warehouse or delivery date. MaStR registration does not replace other grid-connection tasks.
| Milestone | Record | Responsible confirmation |
|---|---|---|
| Dispatch/delivery | Model, count, serial, transport and receipt | Agreed logistics/warehouse and recipient |
| Installation/commissioning | Actual configuration, professional work and commissioning record | Execution team and manufacturer support |
| Customer handover | Instructions, contact route and agreed scope | Customer and executing party |
| Applicable registrations | Actual commissioning information and receipt | Operator and authorised representative |
| After-sales replacement | Fault ID, authority, part and closure record | Manufacturer, team and customer |
Make return-visit exposure visible
For an invented budget, assume 100 systems with EUR 500 first-installation execution cost each: EUR 50,000. Assume 10 additional visits at EUR 350: another EUR 3,500, for EUR 53,500 total. These are not our prices or a measured return-visit rate. Equipment, taxes and special roof/electrical modifications are excluded.
Use the calculation to allocate return-visit responsibility: missing information, customer relocation requests, manufacturer parts, compatibility and additional site works are different causes. At the same assumed unit charge, five extra visits add EUR 1,750 and 20 add EUR 7,000. Without real order evidence, we do not claim a percentage reduction from pre-checks.
Budget additional visits as a separate assignment
Carry a replacement part through to closure
We can coordinate remote diagnosis, local inspection, agreed replacements and follow-up delivery; the manufacturer supplies parts. Collect the model, serial, fault, time and safety status so the manufacturer and professionals can decide the response. Follow manufacturer safety instructions for warning signs; do not ask householders to dismantle equipment.
A dispatched part is not a closed case. Confirm version, arrival, appointment, replacement authority, old-part disposition and closure records. Separate manufacturer warranty from chargeable labour or delivery. Record remotely resolved issues in writing; arrange site work by address and scope rather than promising universal response times or first-visit repair.
Send the manufacturer cooperation brief
Send the manufacturer/system models, PV/three-phase high-voltage hybrid inverter/battery configuration, German installation areas, new-build or retrofit status, expected volume, timing, and parts/technical-support arrangements. We already support German residential-storage products from a listed manufacturer; your model and scope still need individual confirmation.
We can put warehouse, delivery, professional full-scope installation, handover and after-sales responsibilities into an executable plan. Confirmed installation coverage is Germany. Other countries and commercial/industrial storage require a separate assessment rather than an assumed extension of this residential service.
